The Terrific Three's!

I finally made it.  I am finally almost caught up on the blogging!  Let's celebrate.

WOO HOOOOO!

And now, a different celebration.  The girls turned THREE!  I blinked and it totally happened.  There will be a few different posts dedicated to this occasion, as we were all about celebrating!  First up? 

The Family Celebration

We had so much fun the weekend of the girls birthday with lots of family in town.  Conveniently, the Tigers were playing football in Atlanta and Tyler & I were able to go see the game with Mom & Dad and Peyton & Savannah.  Good times!  That was on Saturday and darling Aunt Khaki watched the girlies for us so we could go.  The outcome of the game?  Not so great.  The actual going to the game?  Lots of fun!  Here are a few pics:

And now on to the birthday stuff.  With the game on Saturday, we celebrated their birthday on Sunday the 2nd.  Mimi, Grandbob, Papa, Coco, Khaki, Uncle Ben, Bo, Nate, Wissa, Uncle Scott, PeyPey, Savannah & Uncle P all made the trip.  Rock on! 

Elle & Kate were TOTALLY into their birthday this year.  As soon as Daddy's birthday was over, they started talking about theirs and how they were going to be "free years old" and all the cake and ice cream they were going to eat.  And eat it they did.  And the present opening?  Was like a feeding frenzy.  Elle was so funny - she just kept going from one present to the next, not really stopping and semi out of control.  She was like the Energizer Bunny x 4.  Kate was totally into it as well, but took a little more time inspecting the gifts and wanting to play with each of them. 

They had tons of fun playing and opening and eating and being silly.   We are so glad so many of our family members were able to come and of course, missed those who couldn't make it!
